NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Diebold Inc.'s president of international operations,Michael J. Hillock, is expected to retire Dec. 31.
According to a news release, the company has no immediate plans to replace Hillock, who has been with Diebold for nearly 30 years.
"During his tenure, Diebold has grown from a U.S.-based company with multinational distribution to a global operation with a presence in nearly 90 countries around the world," Thomas W. Swidarski, Dieobld's president and chief executive, said.
Hillock, an Indianapolis native, began his career at Diebold in 1979 as an account manager. He was tapped for president of international operations in 2001 after stints in Hong Kong and London.
