HUTCHINSON, Kan. - DCI, a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, announced in a news release the election of DCI customers Kim Capeloto, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Vancouver, Wash.-based Bank of Clark County, and Tim Kohart, president and chief executive officer for Syracuse, Kan.-based Valley State Bank, to the company's board of directors.
"DCI customers have been an integral part of our Board of Directors since 1963, when the company was founded by the bankers it serves." said John H. Jones, president and chief executive officer of DCI. "The involvement of DCI customers as board members and in the company's ownership is what makes us uniquely responsive to the needs of all DCI customers. We appreciate the DCI customers who participate in the ownership and direction of the company."
"It is rare that you find a vendor with the work ethic, continual human interaction and open lines of communication DCI possesses," said Capeloto, recently named Independent Community Bankers of America COO of the Year 2005. "I can honestly stand behind and support the work of DCI and look forward to serving on its board."
