D.C. subway gets its first ATM

WJLA-TV: The first ATM in a Washington D.C. Metro station debuted June 7. It was placed outside the faregate so that riders can get cash to buy tickets. Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said ATMs are expected to be installed at other stations by the end of the summer.
