DataCard Group opens São Paulo office

Datacard Group, providers of secure ID and card personalization solutions, has announced the opening of its new office in São Paulo.

The office houses a team of local Brazilians to offer sales assistance, technical consultancy, services and support of Datacard Group's solutions for instant issuance, desktop and secure identity systems, and central issuance, according to the news release.

"Based on the strong growth and opportunity we've seen in Brazil over the last few years, we are very pleased to be opening a local office in the region," said Joe Lopez, the regional vice president of Latin America for Datacard Group. "Our partners and customers are top priority, and having a local entity that speaks the language — Portuguese — and offers local sales, services and support is extremely beneficial as we grow our business in Latin America."
