Cummins Allison ATMs EMV-certified by Vantiv

Cummins Allison, a provider of coin, currency, check processing and ATM technologies has completed certification of its ATMs to perform EMV transactions on the Vantiv network. This certification covers EMV transactions for both Visa and MasterCard, according to a press release.

Models now certified for EMV transactions through Vantiv range from cash dispense-only machines to full-function, automated deposit devices, the company said.

Bob Gibson, vice president of branch operations at Cummins Allison, said that many FIs are using the Oct. 1 MasterCard EMV liability shift to implement new technology and improve the user experience.
