Cummins Allison, a provider of coin, currency and check handling solutions, has announced the expansion of its product portfolio to include ATMs. The company has partnered with GRG International and GRG Banking with an agreement that gives Cummins Allison exclusive distribution rights in the United States for GRG ATM products in the financial and gaming markets.
According to a news release, Cummins Allison now offers a choice of eight ATM models, from freestanding lobby terminals to full-function drive up units. All units are EMV-capable and will integrate with virtually any ATM application software.
"We believe our strong sales and service network, combined with the quality and affordability of the GRG equipment, brings a unique solution to the market," said Cummins CEO William Jones. "Customers are telling us they need reliable ATMs provided by a partner they can work with to solve their particular needs.
"Community banks and credit unions, in particular, are looking for a local provider that is easily accessible and offers responsive service support. They want a more personalized approach in the ATM market and with our experience and nationwide footprint, we are confident we can provide a very positive experience for our customers."
GRG has been distributing products in North America for over four years and believes the agreement with Cummins Allison will increase their presence substantially, the release said.
"We're delighted about the partnership with Cummins Allison," said GRG International president Brian Kett. "Our products enable FIs to deploy the latest technology at a very cost-effective price. The addition of a partner with the distribution strength of Cummins Allison is a combination we think will fill a much-needed void in the industry."
