TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Credit Union 24 Network announced in a news release that it hit an all-time high in monthly volume in July, nearing 17 million. The record-setting month reflects an increase of more than 40 percent in transaction volume from July 2004.
While increases in POS transactions contributed to the increase, ATM volumes have continued a steady rise. Monthly ATM activity was up more than 30 percent from the same month last year.
"The month of July shows us that we're able to carry forward the momentum from last year's remarkable growth," said Credit Union 24 president and chief executive Jim Park. "We've already seen over 25 million more transactions on the network than we did last year at this time, and we expect more record-setting months ahead."
