Credit Union 24, Fifth Third Processing Solutions expected to sign processing agreement

November 7, 2005

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Credit Union 24 and Fifth Third Processing Solutions are expected to begin working toward a long-term agreement for switch-processing services.

According to a news release, the move is intended to improve pricing and revenue opportunities for member credit unions, and to offer credit unions a wider variety of products and services.

Credit Union 24's switch-transition plan covers the next 18 months.

"Our primary concern is ensuring that not only will this transition be effectively transparent to our network participants, but also that the improvements will be substantial enough to justify the change," said Jim Park, president and chief executive of Credit Union 24's EFT network.
