CPI, a provider of financial and EMV chip card production and related services, has announced that its instant issuance solution experienced year-over-year net sales growth of over 30 percent, driven by the continued growth in its Card-at-Once installation base.
Q4 2018 net sales marked the best quarter on record for Card-at-Once, a company press release said.
Card-at-Once achievements last year include an integration with Flex, a Salt Lake City-based core processor, giving credit union customers the power to print and provide EMV-enabled cards to branch members onsite.
CPI also announced a collaboration with Commercial Business Systems, a provider of premium software and IT services for credit unions. The CBS CAMS-ii credit union accounting and management system and Card-at-Once were integrated into an offering designed to streamline instant issuance of EMV-enabled cards for credit unions, the release said.
"Card-at-Once continues to achieve significant milestones," CPI senior vice president and general manager of prepaid and instant issuance, said in the release. We are particularly proud to showcase its core integrations, exceptional quality and easy-to-deploy model, as well as the best-in-class customer service behind it."
Card-at-Once is a secure, compact instant card issuance solution that is web-based, quick to implement and easy-to-use, the release said. The CPI SaaS instant issuance model relieves customers of the burden of maintaining software or servers.
Financial institutions benefit from the ability to instantly issue cards inside a branch, driving activation rates, transactions and interchange revenue while reducing mailing and shipping costs, the release said.
