Core Data certifies several terminals, including some with CDPD option

January 6, 2002

AMARILLO, Texas -- Core Data Resources has certified several terminals, including the Cross International Technologies Mini-Bank 3000 series and the NUBANC N100A.

Core Data also certified terminals produced by Triton and Sterling Technologies (formerly BVC) that utilize CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) telecommunications options. An alternative to dial-up and leased-line communications, CDPD allows transactions to be routed through wireless channels of existing cellular voice networks.

Customers can check to see if their region is in the national mobile CDPD coverage area by calling 1-800-308-DATA, according to Core Data. The company says that new providers are added regularly.

According to a Core Data release, the recent certifications represent the company's effort to provide a variety of options and flexible business solutions for its customer base.

Core Data delivers a suite of real-time electronic payment services to independent sales organizations and financial institutions nationwide. Dial-up and leased-line ATM driving, ATM management, data processing and gateway services are among the company's areas of specialization. Core Data currently offers processing for more than 30,000 ATMs in the U.S.
