Cook Security Group has moved to its new national headquarters and state-of-the-art network operations center in Portland, Oregon, according to a press release.
"It's been a long road, but now that we are here, it exceeds even my expectations," said CSG President and CEO Brian Cook.
"In an era of growing cyberattacks, it was important for us to invest in a space to facilitate our growth and allow our team to advance into the digital age."
Approximately half of CSG's 300-plus employees will have offices in the 27,000-square-foot, 3-story facility, which houses the CSG network operations center and Cook Command Center development team.
"Our NOC is our centralized first line of cyberdefense and remote diagnostics, protecting our customers' equipment and keeping it fully operational," said Chief Technology Officer Levi Daily.
"Cook Command Center allows a hierarchy of customer access levels able to view equipment details, service history, current projects, reports and case management, all from their fingertips anytime, anyplace, on any device."
Chief Marketing Officer Randy Neu said the new facility — which includes open work spaces and comfortable meeting areas — goes beyond the typical work environment.
The building's third floor features an expansive employee kitchen and lounge, and a dedicated workout room. Garage-style rollup window walls in these areas can be opened to a covered patio, bringing the outdoors in on fine days.
"It's really a symbol of what we are all about as a company, taking care of our employees and taking care of our customers," Neu said. "A healthy environment translates to a healthy culture which bleeds over to prideful fulfillment."
