Conformance Technologies, a provider of operating systems used in managing business compliance requirements, has released its PCI ToolKit.
The PCI compliance validation solution conforms to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard version 3.2 released last month. The new version addresses threats to consumer payment information.
According to a press release, the PCI Security Standards Council recommends that companies that accept, process or receive payments adopt the new version of the standard as soon as possible to prevent data breaches.
PCI ToolKit is a patented solution that tackles the complexity of PCI DSS compliance validation head-on for merchant acquirers, independent sales organizations and their customers.
Using the toolkit, merchants can graphically validate and maintain compliance with ease, the release said. Current PCI ToolKit users will gain access to PCI DSS 3.2 validation by June 1.
"With rampant data security and privacy incidents, it's critical for merchants to ensure business viability by validating payment card data handling systems and processes regularly to make sure they comply the latest PCI DSS standard," said Conformance Technologies President Darrel Anderson. "With the Conformance Compliance operating system, we are able to quickly update our solutions to meet new PCI DSS versions and incremental revisions, which are expected to occur with increasing frequency."
