Compass Plus, a provider of retail banking and e-payments software, has completed successful stress testing of its open development payment platform, TranzAxis, on Oracle Exadata Database Machine.
Oracle Exadata is highly scalable, secure and redundant making it ideal for online transaction processing applications, data warehouses, and cloud computing, according to a press release.
The stress testing was carried out in cooperation with FORS Distribution, a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.
Primary objectives of the testing included benchmarking TranzAxis performance when deployed in a network of 10,000 ATMs, and demonstrating its functionality when working with the hardware against specific test environment criteria.
Additional tests sought to measure the ability to detect and eliminate application errors and configuration issues, and to find and remove any bottlenecks affecting the performance of applications within the test environment.
"By testing how our payment software will behave in a variety of real-life situations, we are able to propose optimal system and hardware configurations based on our customer's requirements, and subsequently offer savings for their transaction processing business," said Alexandra Kochergina, head of partner programs at Compass Plus. "We are grateful for the continued support provided by FORS distribution in our testing endeavors."
