NEW ORLEANS -- Columbus Data Services (CDS), an EFT processor specializing in ISO ATM processing and vault cash services, in conjunction with Trusted Security Solutions, Inc. (TSS) is introducing a new product designed to simplify the process of compliant ATM master key establishment between the terminal and the host when a new terminal is installed.
According to a news release, the product will combine TSS' A98 Initial Key Establishment System with CDS' Web Tools, allowing Web Tools users to bind two secure key envelopes, known as Comvelopes, with the terminal identification number online.
The process allows an ISO to stage the ATM and eliminates the expense of sending two technicians to the ATM site to enforce the required dual control.
John Willmon, CDS' vice president of Business Development, said in the release, "The addition of this interface to the A98 System (the key establishment system) will remove the complexities of the key establishment process and make the ISO's terminal activation process much easier while maintaining the security of the key establishment process."
The new product will be available to all ISOs March 3, according to the release. CDS will demonstrate the process at the ATM Industry Association show in Miami, March 4-6. For an on-line demonstration, call (888) 275-2864, x260.
