Co-Op Financial Services tops credit union list

ONTARIO, Calif. - Ontario, Calif.-based Co-Op Financial Services announced in a news release that it has been named the No. 1 multiowned Credit Union Service Organization by Callahan & Associates, a national credit union consulting firm.

Callahan recently released its 2006 Directory of Credit Union Service Organizations, which includes 1,002 credit union owners and assets.

The list was compiled based on service organizations' abilities to provide cost-effective resources to help credit unions compete in the financial-services market.
