Cashzone, an independent ATM provider in the UK, today announced that it will expand its ATM portfolio to the First Motorways sites newly acquired by Roadchef, one of the country’s leading motorway service area operators, according to a company press release.
Roadchef’s acquisition of First Motorways increases its motorway service area estate to 20 locations across the UK.
“Having just extended our contract with Cashzone to 2017, it makes perfect sense to continue the exclusive ATM partnership with the company as our business evolves and expands,” said Michael Heaton, Roadchef’s director of loss prevention.
Earlier this summer, Roadchef reported its ATM revenues up by some 3 percent over 2010, exceeding projected forecasts.
Cashzone has a portfolio of about 6,000 ATMs across the UK.
