Cash Technologies appoints Grano to board

December 6, 2001

LOS ANGELES -- Cash Technologies, Inc. has appointed David Grano, former president and chief executive officer of Card Capture Services, to its Board of Directors. Grano engineered the sale of CCS to E*TRADE last year.

Grano grew CCS from approximately $4 million in revenue to more than $120 million  in revenue during his tenure with the company. In 1998 Forbes named the firm the 43rd fastest growing private company in America.

Grano, who spent 10 years in the wireless business with both Nextel and US West Cellular prior to his stint at CCS, is considered a leading industry advocate for the distribution of new financial services through ATMs and other convenient delivery channels.

"I have closely observed the development of Cash Tech's sophisticated payments technology for the past several years. I look forward to contributing to its development and deployment as part of realizing my vision of providing access to information and financial services anytime, anywhere,' Grano said.
