Cash Carriers buys 3DESPlusXP units from ATM Exchange

April 18, 2006

CINCINNATI - The ATM Exchange, a leader in ATM refurbishment, parts, repair and technical support, announced a deal to sell 90 of its 3DESPlusXP units to Richardson, Texas-based Cash Carriers USA, a full-service ATM solutions provider.

According to a news release, in addition to the 90 units, The ATM Exchange also expects Cash Carriers to buy 400 more units before December.

"The order from Cash Carriers represents just another satisfied 3DESPlusXP customer, bringing value to ATM deployers who do not want to be at the mercy of a large OEM," ATM Exchange's Paul Dunphy said. "Opportunities from both the domestic and international markets for 3DESPlusXP have been very strong, and, in turn, we anticipate meeting our 2006 forecast of shipping over 2,000 upgrade kits."

The 3DESPlusXP product provides a seamless upgrade from OS/2 to Windows, as well as a Visa-approved, Triple DES-compliant EPP keypad for NCR Corp.'s 56xx and 58xx series ATMs.

"This product fills a void for our customer base that has deployed ATMs and need to upgrade to Windows," Cash Carriers chief development officer Jerry Gregory said.

Gregory cited installation ease, the lack of required passwords or software maintenance fees, the availability of TCP/IP connectivity and remote monitoring as advantages of the 3DESPlusXP unit.

"Our customers can now easily implement screen personalization, branding, advertising and event-promotion with a Windows-based ATM, without spending important capital on a new ATM," he said.
