DALLAS -- Carreker Corporation (NASDAQ: CANI) has signed a new client: XtraCash ATM, which will deploy three of Carreker's cash management solutions in its ATM network.
XtraCash, the ATM operations arm of Amicus Financial, will use: eiManager, an automated ATM monitoring and dispatching system for maximizing network availability; iCom, an Internet-based cash forecasting and inventory management desktop system for reducing cash needs across the enterprise; and eiGateway, a real-time Internet-based system for efficient handling of ATM service requests and responses.
"As our ATM network grows, we need to be sure we also continue scaling our ability to provide the high service levels our customers expect," said Eugene DeSilva, president of XtraCash. "With the Carreker suite, we immediately escalate our own value proposition by maximizing the network's availability, reducing expenses by managing cash levels according to the needs of each machine, and integrating cash supplier's remote terminals in real time via the Internet."
San Diego-based XtraCash ATM, established in 1995, is the ATM operations arm of Amicus Financial. Among its 8,000 ATMs are those installed at Safeway and Winn-Dixie stores, American Express locations and McDonald's restaurants.
Amicus is the electronic banking division of CIBC. It provides electronic financial services for Safeway SELECT Bank, Marketplace Bank and President's Choice Financial. Through its network of more than 400 pavilions, 24-hour contact centers and more than 8,000 ATMs in North America, Amicus has acquired more than 900,000 customers.
