January 26, 2010
Cardtronics USA Inc. and Dallas' American Airlines Center today announced an agreement for Cardtronics to provide ATM transaction processing and operational support services for the six ATMs installed at the center.
Cardtronics, the largest ATM operator in the United States, is scheduled to take over the center's ATMs at the beginning of February.
American Airlines Center is the home of the Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball team and the Dallas Stars NHL hockey team, hosting special events and more than 80 regular season basketball and hockey games each year and consistently ranking as one of the top venues in the United States for yearly ticket sales.
"American Airlines Center was looking for a service provider who could manage our ATMs and adhere to the highest standards of up-time and service," said Dave Brown, vice president and general manager for American Airlines Center. "Cardtronics offered a robust ATM management program that fully leverages the class-leading system the company uses to operate over 33,000 ATMs around the world. With Cardtronics managing our ATMs, we can be confident that our guests will have ATM access whenever they attend events at American Airlines Center."
