Cardtronics sets sail on ATM agreement with Carnival Cruise Lines

Cardtronics USA Inc. and Carnival Cruise Lines, the world's largest cruise line based on passengers carried, have reached an agreement for Cardtronics to provide ATM Managed Services on Carnival ships.

Under the terms of this multi-year agreement Cardtronics will provide numerous services, including ATM deployment, monitoring, maintenance, customer service and transaction processing.

Cardtronics ATMs are servicing guests on five Carnival ships, the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Pride and Carnival Valor. Each ship features two ATMs that are located in high traffic areas of the vessel and provide convenient access to cash for Carnival's guests.

"Cardtronics is excited to venture far from shore with its first ever cruise ship ATM placements," said Brian Archer, chief marketing officer at Cardtronics. "Providing a reliable and readily available source of cash for Carnival's customers while at sea and in port will help ensure a great experience aboard the ‘Fun Ships' of Carnival, one of the most recognized and respected companies in the vacation and hospitality industry."
