Cardtronics named exclusive ATM services provider for Valero Corner Stores ??

Cardtronics, Inc. announced in a press release that it has entered into a long-term agreement with San Antonio-based Valero Retail Holdings Inc., a division of Valero Energy Corp. The agreement makes Cardtronics the exclusive supplier of ATM services for Valero’s entire U.S. portfolio of company-operated convenience stores, predominantly branded Valero Corner Stores. The agreement also includes expansion rights for future stores.

As part of the relationship, Cardtronics will install and operate more than 950 new Cardtronics-owned ATMs at Valero Corner Stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. The stores will be converted to Cardtronics ATM services in the first half of 2012, including more than 600 stores located in Texas.

The new portfolio of ATMs will be immediately available to banks and credit unions interested in creating brand awareness and providing surcharge-free account access by way of Cardtronics’ ATM branding program.
