Cardtronics adds 12,000 ATMs to NYCE network

September 30, 2003

HOUSTON - Cardtronics has continued to diversify its regional network participation through an agreement with the NYCE Corporation.

Cardtronics has signed a NYCE Banking Terminal Participant Agreement, adding its 12,000 ATMs to the network and providing access by 80 million network cardholders to Cardtronics ATMs.

The NYCE Network, one of the largest shared regional electronic payments networks in the country, provides financial institutions and retailers with shared network services for ATMs, on-line debit point-of-sale and electronic benefits transfer (EBT) transactions.

"Membership in the NYCE network increases our already high percentage of approved transactions and fits our strategy of ensuring that our clients can offer cardholders the ability to conduct financial transactions whenever and wherever they need," said Michael Clinard, chief operating officer for Cardtronics.
