Canadian e-payments provider announces US EMV certifications

AJB Software says it has completed host certifications with American Express, ChasePaymentech , First Data and Vantiv.

Mississauga, Canada-based electronic payments provider AJB Software recently announced that the company has completed seven U.S. EMV Class B host certifications and plans to deliver four more before the end of first quarter 2016.

Class B host certification refers to the certification of a payment application deployed by a third party (i.e., AJB). With respect to EMV, this means that messaging from the payment application communicates directly with the processor and has been verified as compliant with EMV standards.

AJB has completed host certifications with American Express, ChasePaymentech (Tampa), First Data (Nashville, North and Buypass) and Vantiv (ISO & 610).
