Burroughs scanner certified with Acuant ID verification
The Professional Elite scanner uses idScan to capture the image of a government-issued ID and automatically transfer the information to an FI's systems.

Burroughs Inc., a provider of check scanners for the financial industry, has announced the certification of its SmartSource Professional Elite Scanners with the ID scanning solution from Acuant, a provider of credential management solutions.
The Professional Elite scans and captures images of a driver's license or other government-issued ID using Acuant idScan, a Burroughs press release said. This allows the automatic transfer of information to an institution's systems, simplifying the capture and validation process without additional hardware devices.
The Acuant solution provides a proven process for information verification in order to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Red Flag Rules.
