BS/2 receives 2nd Product of the Year award for ATMeye.iQ solution

ATMeye.iQ, a self-service security and monitoring solution developed by Lithuanian banking technology provider BS/2, has received the 2017 gold medal for Product of the Year, presented by the Lithuanian Industrialists' Confederation.

The prize was announced on Dec. 15, according to a company press release, which noted that BS/2 and ATMeye.iQ also won the award in 2008. BS/2, part of the Penki kontinentai group of companies, specializes in software development, and provides banking equipment, IT outsourcing and system integration services.

ATMeye.iQ ATM security management software not only enables real-time monitoring of ATM network activity, but also optimizes business processes, informing the customer and its security services staff about problems that might arise.

The solution features a video surveillance system and sensors that can detect suspicious events, helping to prevent fraud, theft and other attacks. ATMeye.iQ can also aid in the prompt resolution of customer disputes and notify bank staff about emerging problems. 

"We enjoy the fact that our solution has earned recognition from both Lithuanian and international business communities," BS/2 Deputy General Manager Tomas Augucevičius said in the release. "This encourages us to actively go on — offering our partners even more functional software."

In fact, BS/2 currently is working to integrate ATMeye.iQ functionality with face recognition software, the release said.
