BS/2 has introduced software that enables banks to manage the security of their ATM networks.
The software, called ATMeye, provides a surveillance system with intelligent video analytics, say executives of Lithuania-based BS/2. The system provides real-time monitoring. It records events, such as burglary, damage to equipment and installation of skimming devices.
ATMeye also helps settle conflicts arising while a transaction is being processed. Should a dispute occur between a bank customer and the financial institution, the recorded data can be used to resolve the conflict, BS/2 officials said.
BS/2 is an international business process outsourcing company that specializes in software and hardware solutions for financial institutions. The company is an official partner of Wincor Nixdorf AG in Lithuania and other countries in Eastern Europe. Wincor Nixdorf is the world's second-largest ATM manufacturer based on annual shipments.
