BMO, Cardtronics expand branding deal to Wisconsin Speedway stores

BMO Harris Bank and Cardtronics have partnered to offer customers surcharge-free ATM access at more than 60 BMO-branded ATMs at Speedway convenience stores in Wisconsin, including the Milwaukee metro area.

The extended partnership with Cardtronics already provides fee-free access at 320 ATMs, including BMO-branded ATMs at most Walgreens drugstores in Wisconsin and Speedway convenience stores in the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana, as well as Naples, Florida.

"BMO Harris Bank values the 15-year partnership with Cardtronics, which helps make ATM access both fee-free and convenient for all BMO Harris Bank customers," said Kyle Barnett, head of North American physical and U.S. channels at BMO. "Adding Speedway and Walgreens stores in our network will grow our ATM footprint giving our customers greater access and options."

"As branch infrastructure becomes more costly to manage and maintain, Cardtronics ATMs, and our top-tier retailer relationships, become increasingly valuable to growth-oriented financial institutions," Brian Bailey, Cardtronics executive vice president and managing director for global financial institutions, said in the release.
