Bluepoint, AMI intro check imaging, clearing solution for CUs

The companies say that Bluepoint technology solutions hosted by AMI will affordably provide credit unions with the services their members want.

March 1, 2016

Bluepoint Solutions and AMI Information Systems have partnered to provide Bluepoint's ImagePoint suite of check capture and item processing solutions to credit unions nationwide.

AMI provides browser-based, in-house and hosted core processing solutions — including mobile remote deposit capture — to credit unions of all sizes.

According to a press release, the pairing with Bluepoint adds sophisticated aggregation technology and an array of other capture points and complementary services to the AMI offering.

Bluepoint technology solutions hosted by AMI will affordably provide credit unions with the services their members want, the release said:

  • QwikDeposit ToGo quickly and securely captures checks from all mobile devices;
  • QwikDeposit Pro extends item capture to any merchant location;
  • ImagePoint Teller adds Check 21-compliant, real-time check capture in-branch;
  • ImagePoint Fraud modules detect and alert to fraud attempts across all capture points via real-time access to check fraud and counterfeit databases; and
  • ImagePoint Hub aggregates items from all capture points, performs cross- channel duplicate detection, and creates cash letters for forward presentment.

"By adding integrated item capture and clearing, [credit unions] can stay competitive in today's technology-driven, mobile-first culture," said AMI VP Jason Greenwood. "Our partnership with Bluepoint enables us to offer the best, most cost-effective technology for our clients."

"Technology is a great leveler for credit unions of all asset sizes because it allows them to offer services consumers want while maximizing the use of resources," said Alissa Fry-Harris, director of marketing at Bluepoint. "We are extremely pleased to partner with AMI to bring integrated check capture, fraud prevention, and clearing solutions to its forward-thinking credit union clients."
