Reuters: TNS Inc. on Sept. 28 announced the resignation of its chief executive, Jack McDonnell, at the board's request. McDonnell is being replaced by chief financial officer Henry Graham Jr. The company, which in August dropped plans to explore strategic options,including a possible sale, said the change was necessary to provide new leadership and reverse recent performance declines.
According to a Sept. 29 Associated Press story, TNS's stocks began to climb after the announcement. Shares of TNS climbed rose 97 cents, or 7 percent, to $15.02 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
