Bankrate ranks FIs with largest ATM fleets

Together, the top three fleets constitute more than one-third of all bank-owned ATMs in the U.S.

Bankrate, an aggregator of financial rate information has release its list of the 10 U.S. banks with the largest bank-owned fleets.

In the top spot: JP Morgan Chase & Co., with a whopping 18,623 machines representing approximately 17.5 percent of the estimated 100,000 bank-owned ATMs in America.

Bank of America Corp. took second place with a total of 16,062 representing 15.1 percent of all bank-owned terminals in the U.S.

Wells Fargo & Co. rounded out the top three, but as a distant third, with 12,800 units representing 12.1 percent of all bank-owned terminals.
