Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi ends ATM sharing deal

JCN Network (Tokyo): Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ has notified Tokyo Star Bank of its plan to terminate an ATM-sharing deal between the two banks as early as this fall.The core banking unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. is frustrated by the fact that Tokyo Star Bank has been receiving more ATM commission than Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.
