Sydney Morning Herald: The Bank of Queensland has said it will acquire 116 ATM contracts from Autocash Systems Australia for $800,000 (U.S. $617,570).
The acquisition, finalized on Jan. 31, brings BOQ's fleet to 2,275 machines.
"With 18 interstate branches already open, a network of 137 branches in Queensland and now a total of 2,275 ATMs across the country, including more than 1,400 branded BOQ, we have made huge strides to broadening our reach," said BOQ managing director David Liddy. (Subscription required.)
BOQ purchased independent ATM operator ATM Solutions Australasia for $16.2 million (U.S. $10.9 million) in June of 2003.
