Bank Leumi, based in Israel, partnered with Galaxy Digital Inc., a digital assets and data center infrastructure company, to offer digital asset trading through its mobile digital banking platform. Customers can buy, hold or sell a variety of assets such as bitcoin, ether and solana through the Leumi Trade capital markets app, according to a press release.
Galaxy Digital will offer its GalaxyOne Institutional platform for trading and the Custody Infrastrucutre platform for digital asset infrastructure. The service is expected to launch of customers in early 2027.

"We believe that digital assets are gradually becoming an integral part of the global financial system, and it is our role to enable customers to benefit from this development within a reliable, secure, and regulated banking framework."
