Avantra, PrePay Technologies partner to expand prepaid space

NORTH YORKSHIRE, England - Avantra, the trading division of Link Interchange Network Ltd. has formed a strategic alliance with PrePay Technologies, the United Kingdom's market leader in the design and delivery of prepaid card solutions.

According to a news release, the partnership is already working on a number of applications, including prepaid gift cards, travel cards, benefit payment cards, payroll cards, remittance cards, secure-Internet payment cards and prepaid debit.

"We selected PrePay Technologies as our partner as they have a unique combined set of expertise in delivering prepaid program design and integration, hosting and processing, and compliance/regulation," said Steve Smith, Avantra's managing director.
