Australian police suspect Romanian gang behind $1 million ATM scam

Sydney (Australia) Morning Herald:A crime syndicate, believed to be from Romania, is suspected of being behind a spate of recent ATM skimming incidents that have targeted almost 40 ATMs in Sydney alone. Up to a dozen members of the gang are believed to have entered Australia in recent months, attaching skimming devices to ATMs. At least 10 ATMs in Melbourne have been used to clone cards and steal more than $1 million from banking accounts.
