ATMmarketplace.com publishes ATM Compliance Handbook

ATMmarketplace.com has published the ATM Compliance Handbook 2012, a 29-page guide to a number of different legal and regulatory challenges facing the ATM industry.

"Deployers who fall afoul of the guidelines and regulations – some of which have yet to be fully defined – face a nasty mix of potential fines, internal costs and downtime and loss of public confidence," writes ATMmarketplace.com editor Kim Williams in the introduction. "The list of challenges is long."

Challenges tackled in this guide include the Americans with Disabilities Act, surcharge disclosure stickers, security standards such as PCI and EMV, AML compliance, banknotes for the blind/visually impaired, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Durbin Amendment and ATM insurance. In-depth details for each are explored, along with checklists and tools for compliance.
