The ATM Industry Association, announced this week the release of "Cash Connects Us," a video developed for use in online social media.
The video was produced by ATMIA’s ATM Cash Council, whose mission is to portray the true picture of cash by tracking global cash demand, circulation and use today, and to advocate for the freedom of the world’s citizens to use cash if they so choose.
"Cash is one of the most successful human technologies of all time," said Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA. "And today it represents 84 percent of all global transactions. We wanted to convey cash’s important role."
The key theme of the cash video, which will be posted on YouTube and other social media sites, is that cash connects us because it makes payments free and easy between people and merchants of all types and in all places.
