ATMIA publishes Chinese edition of encryption best practices

September 12, 2013

The ATM Industry Association has published its best practices manual, "End-to-End Encryption for ATMs," in Chinese. The translation was sponsored by ATMU, China's largest provider of ATM cooperative operation management services.

"We are building up our library with translated best practices in Chinese for the Greater China region," said Peter Poon, executive director of ATMIA Asia.

So far, ATMIA has translated four of its best practices manuals for use by operators in the fast-growing Chinese ATM market.

"Translations of ATM best practices into one of the world's oldest and greatest languages shows not only that the ATM industry is a global village but also that ATMIA is serious about its long-term role as an international trade association serving all ATM markets," ATMIA CEO Mike Lee said.

The ATMIA best practices library currently includes more than 30 international industry best practices guides.
