ATMIA, ATMmarketplace.com announce call for 2009 ATM Industry Excellence Award

ATM Marketplace.com and the ATM Industry Association, which has more than 1,300 members in 50 countries, are once again joining forces to copresent the 2009 ATM Industry Award for Excellence. The deadline for award nominations is Sept. 23. All nominations should be e-mailed to Amber Howell, ATMIA's marketing manager.
 
Tracy Kitten, senior editor of ATMmarketplace.com, says the award is meant to elevate outstanding contributors who work to improve the ATM industry:
 
ATMmarketplace.com is honored to join ATMIA in recognizing ATM companies that are excelling and positively impacting the ATM industry. During these tough economic times, it's promising to see how well some companies in our industry are accomplishing profitable and innovative feats.
 
When nominating a company or person, please include a 500-word explanation of why this person or company should be chosen for the award.
 
All nomination candidates should meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • Long-term positive influence on improving the industry
  • Excellence in technology or levels of service
  • Leader in applying best practice
  • Specific and measurable achievements producing tangible results

The winner will be selected by ATMIA members, says Mike Lee, chief executive of ATMIA:

Excellence is based on striving to become the very best you can be. We love rewarding individuals and companies who follow this great ideal."
ATMIA and ATMmarketplace.com will present the award at the annual ATM conference Feb. 17-19 in Miami.
