ATMIA announces Buzz Aldrin as keynote for U.S. conference in February

The ATM Industry Association today announced that U.S. astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second human being to walk on the moon during the historic Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, will be the motivational speaker at its “The Power of ATMs” conference in February.

Aldrin will give a talk titled “My Space Journeys: Moon Walking to Mars Cycling.”

“ATMIA is delighted, on behalf of the whole ATM industry, to welcome a global icon and hero as our guest speaker at our 13th U.S. conference,” said Mike Lee, CEO, ATMIA. “Dr. Aldrin is a fitting keynote speaker for an event which will celebrate the power of our technology and the people who drive its development.”

“The Power of ATMs” will take place Feb. 29-March 2, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, Texas.
