ATM USA awards processsing business to Lynk

September 14, 2004

ATLANTA - Transaction processor Lynk Systems has signed an exclusive, long-term processing agreement with ATM USA, LLC, an independent operator of more than 1,400 ATMs, of which more than half are company-owned placements.

According to a news release, ATM USA will rely on Lynk's full range of services, including transaction processing via redundant, data centers, ATM monitoring and Web-based reporting and terminal management.

ATM USA first contracted with Lynk in 2003 to process half of its ATM portfolio.

"After a thorough evaluation of several processors, Lynk is the clear choice for our transactions," said Haze Lancaster, partner of ATM USA. "Our confidence in Lynk means we can focus on continued growth initiatives for our company."

In addition to ATM USA's portfolio, Lynk drives more than 26,000 ATMs nationwide and experienced a more than 42 percent increase in terminal growth in 2003.

"I believe our partnership with this innovative team will afford exciting opportunities for both companies," said Melanie Chewning, vice president of Lynk's ATM Services Division.
