ATM distributor jumps into financial services kiosk business

Florida-based IAD Premier Payment Systems LLC has inked an exclusive distribution deal with financial services kiosk provider Payteller LLC. Premier, which has been in the ATM distribution business for 12 years, will leverage its relationships and resources to launch its Payteller business, said a news release.

The Payteller financial services kiosk offers prepaid cellphone top-up, international long distance and bill pay, with features such as money transfer and prepaid debit card issuance and loading facility to be added in the near future, according to Payteller.

The companies believe that pairing a Payteller with an ATM will offer un- and underbanked customer underserved consumers the convenience of conducting all of their banking and financial transactions quickly in one location. The convenience combined with end-to-end financial services will significantly increase foot traffic for the merchant locations, the release said.
