ATM deployer renews membership with South Africa's buy local group

ATM Solutions, South Africa's leading independent ATM deployer (IAD), announced yesterday that it has renewed its membership in Proudly South African, a buy local campaign started by the country's government in 2001 to promote confidence in homegrown products and services.

Johannesburg-based ATM Solutions, a subsidiary of Paycorp Holdings (Pty) Ltd., has been a member of Proudly South African for seven years. ATM Solutions purchases various ATM components, such as safes, communication devices and fittings from local companies.

"By doing so, we give back to the South African community by stimulating economic growth through on-the-job training, job creation and sustainable, quality employment," said Wayne Abramson, CEO of ATM Solutions. The IAD employs 300 people, and the company deploys 4,000 off-premises and bank branch ATMs.
