NEW YORK - Asia Payment Systems Inc. announced last month that its processing volume during the third quarter of the year increased 24 percent from the same period last year. In 3Q 2005, transactions hit 130,000, according to a news release.
"Overall our trend line is up 22 percent year to date," said Robert Clarke, Asia Pay's chief executive. "We have successfully completed our management restructuring and renewed our organizational focus on sales growth in the near term, with a view to longer-term, sustainable growth in China and other Asian markets. We have a solid base of sales prospects in the pipeline and anticipate a strong finish to Q4, with a significant growth in sales into 2006."
