NEW YORK - Asia Payment Systems Inc. announced in a news release that transaction processing volume in August increased in Japan, as it has for the last several consecutive months. The volume for August was just less than 45,000 transactions.
"We continue to see sustained growth in our transaction numbers," said Matt Mecke, Asia Pay's president and chief executive. "In the coming months, we expect to see our first China processing volumes, along with additional transaction volumes from our recent integration into NETS in Singapore."
