Using the VersaTest Simulator as its engine, EMV Super Driver serves EMV field 55 data to any existing test simulator.

Ascert, a provider of testing software for ATMs, fraud detection and EMV chip cards, has released EMV Super Driver for EMV certification testing.
According to a news release, EMV Super Driver can serve EMV data for testing in any test software.
"We originally created this driver to assist our legacy customers with the upcoming U.S. EMV mandates," said Paul Springston, Ascert manager of professional services. "But the big news is that, using the same approach, we can assist any company with their EMV testing regardless of what type of testing software they are using. This usage is based on the implementation of VersaTest Simulator as the engine serving EMV field 55 data to any existing test simulator."
Ascert completed its first EMV testing projects in 1998, and said it is now poised to assist companies with U.S. EMV implementation. Its Ascertified cloud-based portal allows companies to set up a complete EMV test pack in a rapid fashion, the release said.
