Ascert, Cashware partner for end-to-end ATM transaction testing

California-based testing software provider Ascert and Madrid-based ATM application developer Cashware are partnering to offer a testing solution for all aspects of ATM transaction processing, from the consumer interface to the complete flow of messages through the transaction networks.

“This integrated solution allows linkage of ATM front-end with issuer back-end systems to allow real end-to-end automation of ATM testing in a way that has not been possible previously,” Mike Wainwright, Ascert business development director for EMEA, said in a news release.

Early customer implementations of the combined testing technologies — using VersaTest Automator to control Cashware’s ATMirage product and back end issuer applications in the same test script — have shown greater efficiencies in test data analysis, as well as time-saving benefits through shared analytical engines and connective interface, the release said.

“As a result of the integration of our products we are able to provide a powerful and complete testing solution to our customers,” said Cashware CEO Galia Gomez.
