Arca to buy out Italian partners for end-to-end manufacturing control

June 14, 2016

Arca, a provider of cash automation technology, has entered into purchase agreements to acquire Mavimec SRL, Prosecure SRL and Sumotec SRL, its partner companies in Bollengo and Ivrea, Italy.

According to a press release, the companies operate as third-party resources supporting Arca manufacturing facilities in Italy.

The acquisitions will improve productivity at Arca by creating a singular, streamlined organization, the company said. Arca will gain complete control of production processes from initial concept design through final product assembly.

"The Mavimec, Prosecure and Sumotec teams have long been part of the success of Arca and the legacy CTS Group companies that we acquired in 2014," said Arca Founder and CEO Mort O'Sullivan. "Bringing them into our family is a natural progression and will streamline operations and improve lead times, allowing us to better meet our customers' needs."
