ARCA wins new customers, industry honors

Arca, a provider of cash automation solutions, has recently announced a number of new customer relationships. The company also was recently recognized by Manufacturing Executive and the Manufacturing Leadership Council with an ML 100 award.

New Accounts

The Fulton West branch of N.Y.-based Empower Federal Credit Union selected the ARCA CM18. The system requires no double posting — a major plus for the FCU. Branch supervisor Mary Potts said the CM18 keeps business running smoothly because cash doesn't have to be marked before it's loaded or counted before it's deposited.

Fox Communities Credit Union in Wisconsin chose the ARCA8000 Teller Cash Recycler when replaced one of its branch teller lines with freestanding teller stations. Now the FI is installing Arca cash recyclers in three more locations. Branch manager Lisa Hanna said the machines streamline cash flow and allow staff to focus on the member experience.

R Bank, a locally owned FI in Round Rock, Texas, recently added the ARCA CM18 cash recycler at its Austin and Georgetown branches. "For any financial institution, balancing is a hassle at best and a real headache at worst," said Mark D. Kesselring, vice president of operations and facilities at R Bank. "The CM18 makes the process simple, thanks to automation. It also keeps us running at full speed throughout the day."

The 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 award is a first ML 100 win for ARCA; the company was recognized in the category of information leadership

The company's manufacturing leadership project involved the use of Plex cloud-based technology to provide better ERP support for its financial departments while helping drive improvements in other functions across its enterprise.

The initiative has helped ARCA to improve its access to consistent, accurate, real-time business information that helps employees more effectively and efficiently perform virtually every aspect of the business. Improved quality controls have allowed the company to win and maintain relationships with Fortune 500 companies – doubling its market share since the project was launched.
